Romantic + Cozy Winter Barn Wedding at Hopcott Farms

Here in western Canada we seem to shy away from winter wedding because of the weather but there can be something so cozy and romantic about a winter wedding. Once you have a look at this romantic and cozy barn wedding that Hand Lettered Love by Bev styled, you will definitely be deciding to go with a stunning winter wedding.

This cozy styled shoot took place in a gorgeous barn at Hopcott Farms in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia. This venue is not only beautiful but it has high ceilings that can add drama to any event. For this shoot they used soft globe lighting to add warmth and it makes this space feel so cozy and romantic.

The details are what I think really helps pull this shoot together. To start the rich colour pallet of Burgundy and gold mixed with some greens keep things feeling cozy and warm. The rustic table from Bobbypin’s Curiosities & Vintage Rentals was dressed with elegant florals from The Lasting Bloom.

The other two details I loved about this shoot is the hot chocolate bar and dessert table. I mean…of course a cozy barn wedding would need a hot chocolate bar. To keep with the rustic barn vibe they used two wine barrels and a gold door to set up the bar. Then to set up the desserts they chose to use a white dressing and old vintage sled. Make sure to take a peek at the mini pies, they are super cute!
