If my uncle had a backyard as beautiful as this one, you bet your butt I would be getting married there! When you see the gallery below from Michele Mateus Photography you will understand why Sarah and Matt chose an intimate backyard wedding. This backyard was not only incredibly stunning but this couple was able to have the wedding of their dreams!
Sarah and Matt really wanted to pull off a wedding that felt homey and relaxed but that still had some refined touches to keep it feeling classy too. And I would say this couple definitely pulled it off. You can tell in the images below that their guests had the time of their lives! This is a wedding I would want to be a part of.
The Proposal
From the Bride, Sarah…Matt & I had spent the evening at the Christmas Market and Bright Nights at Stanley park and were about to head home when we decided to stop at the lighthouse to go for a walk. It was cold and a bit rainy but other than that it was clear and the lights from the North Shore looked beautiful. We were standing under the lighthouse, Matt was holding my hand and all he said was “Will you?” when he pulled out my ring. It was simple, perfect and so intimate.
Michele Mateus Photography shares with us…Sarah and Matt had a lovely Backyard wedding at Matt’s uncles home in Langley. They started the day off with a first look at Campbell Valley Park, and then we headed to his uncles property for the ceremony and reception. The property was so picturesque and was beautifully set up by Amanda Kennet, their day of coordinator. This wedding was classy and homey with amazing food and fun lawn games!
