Today we are serving up one amazing Calgary DIY wedding. One thing I absolutely love about DIY weddings is how a couples personalities can really shine through. It is also touching to see so many handmade moments throughout this wedding. Emmylou definitely did an amazing job putting this whole wedding together.
Christy D. Swanberg Photography was there to capture every little detail of Emmylou and Shaun’s day. This wedding had some pretty stunning florals from Amborella Floral Studio. I am also really digging the Fish Creek Park, Amphitheatre as a ceremony space. It is such a pretty outdoor backdrop for a wedding.
Christy D. Swanberg Photography shares…”Emmylou basically DIY’d the whole wedding herself. She knew what she wanted and she shared it with her fiancé Shaun and the planning was completed. They also wanted to make sure their day was memorable and slowed it down a bit. They made time to do be with their family and friends by doing their photos before their ceremony. They had time to freshen up before their vows and just breathe. They literally were able to enjoy every moment of their day and not one thing went amiss.
